Over the course of the play, he's gone completely head over heels for The Christine, but he knows that he doesn't have much to recommend him except for his pretty face and pretty voice and that The Christine loves smart guys and poets...but maybe with a little help from her best friend, The Cyrano de Bergerac, he's got a shot.
